Assalamualaikum and a very good day to all,
0.Intro
Seems like I could not managed to start writing my posting in dual-language as I intended to do before. So, for the time being I will stick to writing my posts in English until I found a technique that will enable me to write in dual-language or embed something that can translate this page into other languages including Bahasa Malaysia as well.
1.International Issues
Now Barack Obama has officially become the 44th President of the United States of America. So what will we expect him to do? Solve US internal problem? That one maybe he can try to improve it. But US foreign policy? No. He won't change anything at all. If he still wants to finish his term in the Oval Office in one piece. In other word, he cannot change US foreign policy at all.
Why? Check the main lobby in White House and the US Congress. It's almost like everyone's will shout "AIPAC" in unison if the question about the main lobby inside the representatives for US states is asked. AIPAC, (fullname:American Israel Public Affairs Committee), is the strongest lobby in the US and they are supporting BOTH sides of the election. And that's making them even stronger as either candidates won the candidate will always supports Israel with no compromise. They are also brought out money worth almost $100 million during the last presidential election for their agenda of controlling "the most powerful nation in the world" from the back. So where are the Muslim nations and organisations? So far they are using the OIC (read: Oh, I See) approach only. That's what's wrong with the Muslim nations nowadays. And I can only hope that someday there will be someone that will change all this. Let us hope for that to happen soon.
2.Local Politics
So now everyone already knew who won the Kuala Terengganu parlimentary seat in the last minor election. From this I can only say this: all the tactics used by goverment have backfired. Many people are not amused by the way they're doing right now. And one of them is the main media bias towards Pakatan Rakyat (PR) which is shown very clearly. And the failure of the government to shut up many of PR accusations on the party members of many cases only makes the PR even stronger. Not to mention the obvious rife within Barisan Nasional themselves only makes them even weaker than ever. And I can only point the problems to one man: Pak Lah. His weakness causing all this. If he were much stronger and tougher (note: not physically but actions) then many of this problems would not has surfaced. And now it's time to start countdown until March 2009 when Dato Seri Najib will take Barisan Nasional (BN) and UMNO's helm from Pak Lah. Then we'll see what he can do if he were to become PM (if Pak Lah were to resign from being PM after he step down from being UMNO & BN president of course).
3.Palestinian Issues
I have read many other news and blogs including comments within the blogs. Many of them accusing HAMAS of breaking truce first. But when I read the Palestinian news the opposite of the mainstream news were told. And I prefer to believe my fellow muslims rather than the news provided by the illegal nation Israel which is very well-known for its mass deceptions to the world. And I just remembered when the news said about suicide bombing is a "terrorist act". Do you know that the Zionists Jews who came to Palestine first executed this act? They are the pioneers of suicide bombing while in Palestine as a method to strike fear into the heart of the villagers at that time. And this is one of the methods they used in order to take over villages from Palestinians by force. And now they are using advanced weapons in order to terrorise the remaining Palestinians in Gaza. So how do you think I can trust those people? They have been terrorising Palestinians for 60 years and still continue and love doing it to the Palestinians. Take time to think about it.
4.Others
Usually I will write about things other than the topics mentioned above in this part of my post. But this time I want to co-relate this parts with some of the parts above.
4.1War Casualties
As everyone can see, the mainstream media have written the number of casualties everytime there's war such as Iraq war, Israel-Lebanon war and the latest, Israel-Gaza war. Usually the numbers of the those who killed/died in the wars are written in thousands when "Iraq", "Lebanon/Hezbollah" and "Gaza/HAMAS" are mentioned. And the numbers of those who killed/died in the wars are written in hundreds or less when the aggresors (US/Israel) are mentioned. I am not saying that I don't sympathise the Lebanese, Iraqis and the Palestinians that died in the wars but are those really the numbers of the victims from those sides? And are the numbers that died from US/Israel sides really that few? Somehow I felt that the number of those who died from the Lebanon, Iraq and Gaza have been exaggerated and the number of those who died from US/Israel soldiers have been underrated by the mainstream media. The number of those who died in the wars may have been adjusted as some form of psychological warfare from US/Israel media to show that their military are strong (and to strengthen their soldiers' morale) and to weaken their enemies morale. I am not saying it is true but it may be a possibility. After all, psychological attacks from the mainstream medias have been a part of their warfare towards their enemies every time they wage wars. What do you think?
I think that's all for now.... till then shall we meet again....0.Intro
